I have is speculation, based on the magnet story.
I
think the Red Cap stayed within her for years. Beyond puberty, even, until she
became sexually active again. Maybe with another Red Cap; maybe just with
another person.
It’s
my only theory. I’m wondering if Katie was the very first Vessel to become one
through those means.
